CWYW version compatible with Wine or Crossover

I am using MS Office 2007 with Crossover Office for Linux (from http://www.codeweavers.com/) and Endnote X. If I try to include the CWYW toolbar in Word, the software crashes during startup.

I would love to see a version of CWYW that is compatible with Wine or Crossover Office.

I can corroborate this finding for the following reasons:

Previous versions of Crossover and the new Crossover 10.0x  (Impersonator with CrossTie) are  based on the WINE 1.x.x . The new Crossover version 10.0x is based on WINE 1.3.9  and is fixed with ca. 4500 patches and uses Cross Tie for the EN  installation into a Win 98, 2000, XP and Vista Bottle.

  • After the installation of EN X4 according  to Codeweavers homepage (e.g. download of the CrossOver version for Linux Ubuntu 10.0/Installation via Ubuntu Software Center/Start of EN X4 installation  via  EN X4 setup.exe and XP Bottle).  the EN X4 was problemless installed  and started well and fast.

HOWEVER, the text of My Library (e.g. All references, Unfiled …) doesn’t appear. It is the same like for Wine 1.3.13 or 1.3.16. (See Screenshot  43 (Missing Text) and 46 (Installation vis Crossover 10.0).

  • It is not possible to insert CWYW in Word 2007 with Crossover 10.0. The reason can be found in the Wine features during programming.

CWYW is  a win application at this time only. I tried to implement in Word 2007 and LibreOffice 3.3. and earned the same message (see Screenshot  25) in the past .

Dear Mronkko, Thomsonreuters programmers worked and work well but very slowwwwly with another distros besides Windows!
