As usual, I’ve inserted references in my Word document (e.g. …(Jones 2007)), I’ve right click to select REMOVE AUTHOR but instead of removing author to display only (2007), it changes to (Anderson 2005) (A different reference all together!). In fact, it screws up all my other references throughout the entire document. Now, I have to look through each and every reference for 200 pages to fix all these wrong references!! What is going on!
Before doing any changes, unformat the document and see if the correct references are there in the unformated set. Then read this FAQ. I suspect you have put in a semi-colon.
