I have a problem in the Chicago Style with a colon appearing after Ibid. and before the page number. It only occurs when the citation is to a journal source, not a book. The correct format is Ibid., 231-34 for example and that is how it works for a book reference. For journal article references it is appearing as Ibid.:231-234. I can’t suppress the colon and replace it with a comma. Can anyone help please? Thanks!
Thanks johneast. I guess this is going to take a manual entry. My dissertation committee insist on commas not colons.
