Our library recently did a version upgrade of the resource discovery system. Now we realised that the exported RIS files that used to open directly in EndNote is now asking for the user to select an import filter.
As far as we can see nothing has changed where RIS files, its relevant data fields are concerned.
We did notice that the TY field is not the first field of the RIS file but as it has always been the case in the past it’s puzzling why it’s only cause problem now.
Would any one be able to shed some light?

By the way, we’ve tested this on EndNote X4 and higher.
