I guess this question has been asked before, but I could not find a thread describing this. I am trying to use Endnote to organize my references. I want to order them in terms of author which could be easily done by Endnote. However, the dates of the sorted items are totally out of order. I want the date to be a secondary criterion and within each author the date could be sorted either in the descending order or ascending order. I am wondering whether any one knows how to do this.
I am using a trial version of Endnote X4. Thanks in advance for your kindly help.
