I need Endnote to sort bibliography by full date

Hello,

I’m unable to sort my bibliography by date. 

I want to sort it in this order

  • Author

  • Year

  • Date

Now the author and year are sorted out fine, but when it comes to multiple works (news articles) by the same author, it sorts it literally by the first number in the date field. For example

  • 8 January 2005

  • 19 July 2003

  • 20 April 2003

  • 25 August 2014

So it’s not sorting it chronologically. Please kindly help.
