Issue with "book section" repeating quote

I’m having an issue with how EndNote handles repeated citations of “book section” entries. I’m using Chicago 17th. Best if I give an example.

The first citation of the first article appears correctly as:
Georges V. Florovsky, “To the Orthodox People: The Responsibility of the Orthodox in America,” in Ecumenism: A Doctrinal Approach, 2nd ed., The Collected Works of Georges Florovsky, vol. 13 (Vaduz: Büchervertriebsanstalt, 1989), 174.

The repeated citation looks as expected:
Florovsky, “To the Orthodox People,” 78.

However, when I cite a different chapter from the same book, the first citation should look like this:

Georges V. Florovsky, “Apostolic Tradition and Ecumenism,” in Ecumenism: A Doctrinal Approach, 2nd ed., The Collected Works of Georges Florovsky, vol. 13 (Vaduz: Büchervertriebsanstalt, 1989), 152.

But it doesn’t. Instead, EndNote formats it like this:
Florovsky, “Apostolic Tradition and Ecumenism,” 152.

EndNote is treating the second chapter as a repeated citation and omits the information about the book from which this comes from, which it should not.

How do I stop this from happening?

It is really disappointing that this bug is still present in recent versions of endnote. in 2013 and 2014 this “feature” was reported –

Basically, If the author is the same and the book title is the same (the secondary title is not considered in footnotes when determinining whether something is a duplicate). adding an extraneous character to the book title in one of the records can sometimes “trick” endnote into thinking they are different.

Yes, it’s frankly embarrassing that EndNote is making such a glaring error to begin with, rendering it completely unusable for me—and likely for many other users as well. The workaround won’t help either, since I often have five or six different chapters from the same book. This needs to be fixed.

yep, but it only happens when the chapter author is the same in the records at least.
