Please help,
I am trying to import references to a word document but am getting the above message. The references are in an end note library but the document seems to be searching a different end note library. Is there a simple way to change where my word document is looking?

When formatting references cited in a Microsoft Word document, EndNote will look through any library currently open within EndNote at the time when the formatting process begins. If you’re able to find the reference associated with a particular mismatched citation within your library, take a look at the search field atop EndNote’s Select Matching Reference window to make sure the author’s name is spelled the same as it is within the library and that the citation includes the same year as found within the Year field of this library record.
