OpenOffice, page number in citation

Hi everyone, I am struggling with something that should actually be easy to do

I’m using EndNote X6 and OpenOffice 3.4.1

When I want to edit a citation in the text and add a page number it doesn’t seem to work.
What I do exactly: I click on the “Edit Citation(s)…”-button, add the page number in the “Pages:” field, click on “OK” and save the page. When I add the number manually in the text it just disappears after restart. When I go back to edit citation, the number is still there! just can’t get it to show up in the text.

Any suggestions / help? Would be greatly appreciated!
I’m using the Harvard style. e.g. (Smith 2006:54).  Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

With the majority of Style, the page numbers should be added to the Suffix field rather than the Pages field in the Edit Citations dialog. While OpenOffice.org Writer is not explicitly mentioned in this article, the same steps would apply:

You should enter the text exactly as you would like it to appear in the Suffix field including the colon:

: 54

Click OK to update the citation.
