I would like to fully remove the URL hyperlink for webpage citations. Changing to ‘plain’ text doesn’t do it and removing the hyperlink in word is only a temporary fix. It seems that I was able to permanently change it in endnote.
Any suggestions?

URL generation is a Word processing feature and not controlled by Endnote. Edit Word’s Autocorrect settings (under tools) “Autoformat as you type” (and Autoformat) deselecting the “internet and network paths with hyperlinks” and I think that “feature” will go away.
Refer to this threadfor instructions on modifying the MS Word style to remove the hyperlink underline format.
