Use "Change Text" to add italics

I’m looking for a way to rapidly update the formatting of speciic words without having to open each reference in my library and change it manually. Specifically, I want to italicize the binomial names of organisms automatically. 

Is there a way, for example, to use the Change Text (or other) function to search my EndNote Library for

     Homo sapiens

and replace it with

     Homo sapiens (note italics)

automatically?

This would be a great feature to add to EndNote at some point. I’ve been mildly annoyed by this for years.
